You've Got Connections

March 24, 2020

Since this newsletter went to print, the world around us has changed and continues to change in many ways. Even in these uncertain times, we remain firmly focused on our mission and the inspiring natural environment we are stewarding for you and with you. Here is what we are doing:

--Bridget and Tracy have been working remotely and will continue to until further notice.

--Since many Lake and Township residents spread coast-to-coast during the winter, the Board and Committees are already accustomed to conducting business through conference calls. The Board and Committees continue to meet monthly.

--Monitoring and stewarding our preserves continues while following social distancing recommendations. Share photos with us as you hike and spend time at our nature preserves!

--We are balancing optimism and reality as we continue planning events for 2020. Some — like the Brennan Woods Workday with Fremont Middle School — will unfortunately not take place for reasons related to the coronavirus pandemic. We'll know more about what is possible and prudent as time passes. We will keep you posted on events as we adapt to continue our good work.

--Finally, we will also use new ways to connect with you, including short videos, so that you can be part of the changing seasons and projects on Conservancy preserves — no matter where you find yourself!

We invite you to stay connected (from a safe distance) and support our mission to preserve this beautiful corner of the state!

In this issue: leadership update including a sneak peek of our 2020 Clear Lake Directory Ad, our 2019 Annual Report, and a calendar of events. See the full issue here.
