Prairie Trail Closed for Maintenance

We are excited to begin the final step of our prairie trail project at Clear Lake Nature Preserve this fall! After designing the trail layout and mowing the pathway this past spring, the the prairie trail will undergo grass seeding this week. While the grass seed is establishing through the season, the prairie trail will be closed to all traffic. We will continue to update our community as the project moves forward and we hope to open the trail again in the coming spring.
If you are looking for a beautiful fall hike, the Brennan Woods trail is still open for all. Enjoy the crisp fall weather and the bright orange and red colors throughout the almost 1-mile trail. Put on a coat, grab a camera and experience the beauty of the season in our natural environment.
