More Protected Land!

We are excited to share that, with two recent property acquisitions, we now own and preserve 45 more acres of land in the Clear Lake Township! The Conservancy's current holdings total just under 150 acres of land, protected forever.
The newly named Waterfield Preserve features our previously known Koeneman Lake Nature Preserve as well as an additional 25 acres purchased from the Clear Lake Lutheran Church. The new South Bridge Preserve of 20 acres is nestled behind South Clear Lake Drive and Fountain Beach Drive and creates a “bridge” between two forested areas, one of which is the Conservancy's Woodland Conservation Easement.
