Some of the best experiences we have at Clear Lake are the ones we spend outside with friends. As winter comes to an end and we anticipate the arrival of spring, let’s look ahead to the warmer weather and how you can admire our environment and spend time with the community. Whether you are looking to meet new people, spend more time in natural spaces, learn more about the Conservancy, or simply offer up your time, our volunteer opportunities and outreach programs might be just what you need! We have a variety of events, programs, and volunteer days lined up for the 2025 season that involve people of all ages and skill sets.

Image Description HereThe annual Neighborhood Cleanup Project welcomes its 6th year of community members teaming up to clean up the roadways in our watershed and township. Check out the latest cleanup map on our website and sign up to help with this community project running March 22 to April 22, Earth Day!

Speaking of Earth Day, look out for our Countdown to Earth Day emails, celebrating the stewardship of land and exploring the different ways that we can all care for and protect our unique environment. We will share the progress of our winter land maintenance work, insight into our long-term restoration goals, tips on how you can introduce conservation on your own property, and how we can continue to work together in stewarding our special corner of Indiana.

Our team has been working away on plans for the upcoming educational, stewardship, and fundraising activities coming soon. From Kasota Island Cleanup and Garlic Mustard Pulls to Run Day, Fun Day and Knee-high Naturalists, there are plenty of ways to participate in the Conservancy’s mission this year. For a full list of events and dates, view our Event Calendar.
