Conservancy Welcomes a Summer Intern
June 5, 2017
Jonathan Moss is a Junior at Purdue University studying environmental and ecological engineering. He is vice-president of the Students in Environmental and Ecological Engineering organization. He is the men’s captain of the Purdue Water Ski Team. He recently spent two weeks studying abroad in Stockholm, Sweden learning about sustainability.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading fiction novels, waterskiing, hiking, and spending time with family. He is a third-generation Clear-Laker and has spent time here every year of his life.
He is looking forward to learning more about Clear Lake’s ecosystem and it’s connection to the community.
Jonathan will be volunteering with the Lands Committee to help design the hiking trail through Brennan Woods. He will develop a draft plan that outlines improvements and installations for the trail. Jonathan will learn how to complete the annual monitoring on the conservation easement and he will also volunteer on the Water Quality Committee and help with testing this summer.
We look forward to his involvement!
