Clear Lake Nature Preserve Temporarily Closed

For the safety of everyone, we will be closing the Clear Lake Nature Preserve next Monday (8/19) and Tuesday (8/20). If the weather cooperates, the Northeast Indiana Solid Waste Management District will bring their tub grinder in to grind the wood piles on the west end of the preserve. Flying debris and large equipment make it too dangerous for the public to access. The piles were made from downed cottonwood trees from that side of the property. The debris was piled for removal to ensure good seed to soil contact when we seed this winter.
