Clear Lake Dredging
October 4, 2016
LARE funded dredging on Clear Lake is starting back up soon. The contractors will use an excavator affixed to a barge to remove the sediment. The barge will offload at the public launch and the materials will be hauled offsite.
Dredging will start at the public launch tentatively on Monday, Nov. 28th. The wind will dictate which site will be dredged next. The contractor may dredge between the two, at the lake-side outlet of the Cyrus Brouse ditch located on South Clear Lake Drive and at the bridge between Round and Clear Lake, if the wind doesn't cooperate. The Harry Teeters outlet up to Lakeside Court will be dredged last.
