The Next Chapter

September 2, 2022

Dear Friends,
My husband and I have made the difficult decision that we will move closer to extended family in Chicago by year-end. We all have a limited and unpredictable amount of time on this Earth and Dave and I would like to raise our daughter Rosie closer to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

I’ve really enjoyed my time working at the Clear Lake Township Land Conservancy and in this community. I’ve especially enjoyed collaborating with the Board, committee members, volunteers, staff, and the community to preserve this beautiful corner of northeast Indiana. The love that so many have for this special place is inspiring! I’m so proud of the work we have all accomplished together.

The Board has begun the search for a new Executive Director to continue the current progress and momentum. Clear Lake is a special place, and the right person will be found to lead the Conservancy in the next chapter of its history. Fortunately, the Conservancy is in its strongest position since it was founded thirty-one years ago. Reach out to Board President Karen Horrell with questions and help us share the job posting when you see it announced.

Your continued support for the Conservancy’s work will be a tribute to what the Conservancy has accomplished since 1991 and especially over the past seven years as I’ve worked alongside all of you.

I hope to see you in person as I work with Karen and the Board to continue progress on Conservancy projects between now and the end of 2022. Thank you for your wonderful support and belief in the mission!

With gratitude,

Bridget
