Change can be bittersweet

The change is bitter for us, but sweet for our Land Steward. Elizabeth Strick will be leaving the Conservancy on June 14, 2022 to work for the Toledo Zoo as the Native Landscape Designer. How cool!

If you had the opportunity to volunteer with Elizabeth, you learned quickly how passionate she is about native plants and native landscaping. She is an incredibly hard worker and committed to doing an outstanding job. We send her off with great appreciation for her time and commitment to improving our preserves and land stewardship program. In one year, she accomplished what many would in three years! We will miss her Whats Blooming feature on our website.

In a conversation, Elizabeth shared that she enjoyed her time at Clear Lake Township Land Conservancy, especially working with community volunteers.

We wish Elizabeth the best as she pursues a career opportunity that aligns better with her family and personal goals.
