Brennan Woods Walk

Join us on Saturday, March 17th from 1pm - 4pm for a guided hike. Co-hosted by the Conservancy and Blue Heron Ministries.

Clear Lake Nature Preserve is a 45-acre property owned by the Conservancy. Mature white oak trees highlight the rolling topography. Wetlands protect the water quality of Clear Lake. An old field awaits conversion to prairie. Blue Heron Ministries is partnering with the Conservancy and the US Fish & Wildlife Service to steward and restore this microcosm of Lakes Country in Steuben County.

Join us for a hike to discuss the restoration practices applied and planned.

Brennan Woods, part of the Clear Lake Nature Preserve, is located off of CR 675 N, on the west side of Clear Lake. From Fremont, head east on SR 120 to CR 700E. Turn left on CR 700E, and (approximately 3/4 mile north) turn right onto CR 675 N. We will be parking at the tennis courts and making the short walk up the road to the preserve.
