Brennan Woods Fall Workday - Rained out!
Mark your calendars for our next Brennan Woods fall workday on Sunday, September 29th @ 11:00am. The brothers of Phi Kappa Theta from Trine University will again be joining us to share the workload! We will work to clean up the trail and finish mulching. We are also excited to dig holes and install our educational signs that the Fremont Middle School’s 8th graders helped create last spring. Bring your wheelbarrows, rakes, and lots of energy to help get this project one-step closer to completion!
Can’t join us but still want to help? We are looking for cooks that would like to share a crockpot of chili or soup with our volunteers this day. Let Tracy or Bridget know if you’re interested.
Clear Lake Nature Preserve & Brennan Woods is located off of CR 675 N, on the west side of Clear Lake. From Fremont, head east on SR 120 to CR 700E. Turn left on CR 700E, and (approximately 3/4 mile north) turn right onto CR 675 N.
A map to the preserve can be found at: https://goo.gl/maps/WPNb43RQHcA2
In the event of a storm the workday will be canceled. Questions, call our office (260) 527-1072.
